Had an amazing stay with friends! The breakfast was a highlight, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! The location is perfect, close to stores and restaurants.
The bedding was uncomfortably hot, making it tough to sleep. Even with the thermostat turned down, it felt like sleeping on a glacier with heavy blankets.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay in the clean King Room, Non-Smoking, and the fresh cookies in the lobby were such a nice touch! The outdoor pool area is perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was great for unwinding after a long day. Only downside was the shower pressure could've been better, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all. 🏊♂️

I stayed for a few nights at the Hampton Inn in Federal Way. The location impressed me, really close to many options for restaurants and shopping. The breakfast each morning had a solid selection. A highlight was definitely the friendly staff—they were always smiling and eager to help out. However, I encountered a big issue with the thermostat in my room. It would turn off every time I left, making the room hot when I returned. I asked the front desk about it, and they seemed to be aware of the problem but hadn't resolved it yet. The furnishings felt a bit worn, and I noticed some noise from the freeway, which was a distraction at times. Luckily, my bed was comfy, but those were some drawbacks. Overall, the staff and convenience of the location made up for some of the deficiencies in room maintenance and noise control. I would stay again if they fix the thermostat situation and maintenance issues.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it was just a short walk to the Commons at Federal Way for some shopping and dining options, and I loved how Lake Killarney was only about 3.5 km away, perfect for a scenic stroll in the morning. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a nice touch that fueled my adventures throughout the city.

Had an awesome trip with friends! We enjoyed visiting the Wild Waves Water Park and checked out some local mountain biking trails. The staff was super friendly, and breakfast options were solid. It was nice to chill in a clean and comfy room with all the gear we needed nearby.
We did face some issues with the key cards at check-in. they didn’t work on the first few tries, which was pretty annoying.

convenient access to parks and dining options
I found the breakfast to be tasty and the front desk staff very welcoming, making my stay pleasant and stress-free. I couldn't have asked for a better location with North Lake just a short 1.5 km away and delightful dining spots like East India Grill literally across the street, perfect for grabbing a quick bite after a day of exploring the city. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the comfortable King Room I stayed in, though the air conditioning could use an update to enhance comfort.

The location is excellent for exploring south Seattle and nearby attractions. Friendly staff made check-in a breeze, and the comfortable King room offered a peaceful environment to unwind. Breakfast was nicely varied, featuring some freshly caught fish, which was a delightful surprise. However, road noise was disruptive at times, and the gym could use more equipment to enhance the workout experience.

Tried East India Grill—totally a flavor explosion with their curries! Plus, the breakfast spread at the hotel was a gem, setting us up for the day. Great dining score with local options.
But, we did face some heat issues—no warmth on a chilly soccer day! They finally shifted us to a new room, but for $300 a night, I expected better service—especially coz nobody likes coming back to a frosty room, right?
